The winners of our Femme Palette Women Startup Challenge are announced! Andrea, Barbora, and Jordan will receive guidance from leading Czech investors, free access to a co-working space Worklounge in Prague, and a chance to get up to 10mil. CZK investment. We congratulate the winners and are looking forward to seeing their projects expand!
Out of the 40 extremely interesting projects, 10 made it to the final pitch and the panel selected three winners who will receive consultations from Vladimir Stastny (KOOPEO Ventures), Karel Oblouk (Evolution Equity Partners), and Petra Westerlaan Koncelíková (Nation1). In addition, the winners will get 3-month access to the co-working space Worklounge. All participants in the competition have been incredibly strong and their 5-minute pitches were well-prepared. Although difficult, the judges selected three winning projects:
Andrea has created a networking platform Imprompt Me for Hybrid conferences, focusing in particular on event agencies and conference planners. It provides conference planners with a single platform - virtual venue & event app - which creates the real bridge between Virtual & Physical attendees.
Barbora's idea is Fjooga - a platform connecting yoga trainers, practitioners, and studios. It consists of a reservation system, search aggregator and yoga job offers, etc. Customers are mainly the yoga or fitness studios (reservation system with additional value) and for the search aggregator anybody who wants to reach this segment with the advertisement.
Jordan wants to digitize veterinary. Pet ownership is a huge part of Czech culture. Yet, while other services are currently undergoing a digital transformation, the veterinary field has been at a standstill. Our service will close the gap. Pet owners will be able to get medical advice without leaving the comfort of their homes. In addition, veterinarians will be able to file queries faster, reducing wait times, and work-related stress.
The panel also awarded a Social Impact Award to Tereza Reznickova who will receive consultations and mentoring from Silke Horakova, an investor, philanthropist and co-founder of Tilia Impact Ventures & Albatros Media. Tereza’s platform EdGenio personalizes learning for kids based on their strengths in a fun way (mastery learning). In this way, it saves time for teachers thanks to automated evaluation and access to the material database, provides more granular analytics and insights for parents, and adds value for schools when acquiring new students and possibly teaching online.
All the awardees of the Women Startup Challenge will start their consultations in October.

She ideates a platform that makes new and exciting books available for a reasonable price and a limited period of time. And if you like them, you can rent them for a monthly fee. It is the new Netflix for books.
Vera Netusilova designed an internet platform creatiwo that connects creative professionals with businesses or the public. It focuses on professional creators (e.g. designers, musicians, AI/VR developers, fashion designers, architects, illustrators, UX designers) who are looking for business opportunities, business development and management of their activities.
