Become an ambassador

How it works

As an ambassador, you can choose from several ways to spread the word about Femme Palette and help strengthen our community. Each of the listed ambassador activities will count towards interesting perks to be chosen from our rewards system.

You can use your presence on social media to share about our mentoring programs and events with your network. If you'd like to be more involved in our events, you can also join us as an events volunteer. Want to be even more hands-on? Ambassadors can also organize their own Femme Palette meet ups in their city. Are you passionate about a topic and enjoy writing? You can contribute with content to the Femme Palette blog. Each ambassador can also refer people to our programs to help them reach their career goals.

Ambassadors are selected through an open call twice a year. Individual open calls may either be focused on specific locations or open to all applicants globally.

Application process

Submit your application

The application takes only a few minutes to fill out. You will also be asked to provide a short, 250-word motivation letter.

Evaluation & selection

We will review all applications and decide who will become an ambassador. We will let you know if you have been selected.

Cohort launches

We will onboard applicants who have been selected to become ambassadors. You will be invited to a kick-off events to learn more and meet other ambassadors.

FAQs

Do I have to be a community member to become an ambassador?

Yes, this opportunity is open to community members only. If you're not part of our global community yet, you can join us here. Join here if you're based in Berlin, and here if you're in the Czech Republic.

Can I choose which ambassador activities I participate in?

Yes. You can participate in any of the listed activities you choose. We have a points system in place where each activity is rewarded with points which you can then use to redeem rewards. Keep in mind that each activity will bring you a different number of points.

Where do I have to be based to become an ambassador?

We currently run two open calls yearly for new ambassadors. These may be aimed at specific locations, however one open call is always aimed globally, so you can apply from anywhere.

What if I'm selected and onboarded as an ambassador, but then don't have time to be active?

We review the activity of our ambassadors periodically. If we notice that you haven't been active for a while, we will reach out to you to ask about your situation and resolve it individually. However, if anything happens which prevents you from being an active ambassador, please let us know ASAP so we can keep that on record.

Is the program also open to mentees from the Femme Palette programs?

Absolutely! If you've had a positive experience with mentoring, we would love for you to stay involved and spread the word. We accept mentee ambassadors on a rolling basis where you will have the opportunity to join the nearest upcoming cohort. You will hear from us at the end of your mentoring journey about potentially becoming an ambassador.
