Originally from Hong Kong, she has lived abroad since the age of 11 in Northern Ireland, Canada, and France. As an ambassador and confidence coach at Code First Girls, she actively advocates for underrepresented individuals in STEM. Coding, languages, music, and dance are her main passions.

She also has expertise in Cognitive Automation and Forensic Linguistics. Combining both industrial experience and academic research, Kateřina gives lectures at Charles University in Prague and Palacký University Olomouc. Kateřina is married with three kids.

She is working on a platform for testing car prototypes and managing the resources and processes in a company. Her main laguage was C# and WPF for GUI. Since 2022, she started web development in Typescript/Angular, whic has become her main focus. She is a certified Scrum Master (Agile Alliance).
