Oliver Skopec

With Bockses.io Oliver is reshaping the way we live and move, developing a smart logistics tech solution for personal belongings to move around the world or be stored in a more sustainable way while allowing for a flexible and remote life- and workstyle.

As Head of the Discovery Team SKODA Auto DigiLab Oliver was responsible for the global scouting of technology and business trends in the field of mobility.
He holds valuable experience in both building products and companies, from market research across product development to staffing and scaling. 

Previously Oliver has been involved with consulting projects and interim positions in the field of logistics, mobility, marketplaces and education. Besides his entrepreneurial roles asc(Co-)Founder of various StartUp’s his activities included M&A advisory, Group Development, portfolio management and Executive Director. He was involved as an investor/supporter at LMTS („circ”, sold to „bird”), with the Series A fundraising at „ONO” (last mile delivery vehicle) and building last mile delivery solutions in east africa through his former venture „Tupomoja”.
On a meta-level Oliver has served two years as Director Product at „Holtzbrinck Digital” - the VC firm of one of Germany’s largest publishing houses (MacMillan, Nature, Die Zeit a.o.), where he was overseeing the product strategies of up to 15 portfolio companies of various sizes. Methodologically Oliver has gained most experience around market entry strategies and market research through his 10 year role as founding partner of the Berlin Institute for Innovation („BIFI”). 

Oliver studied at the Berlin University of Arts and the University Witten/Herdecke. He lives between Prague, Berlin and the Bohemian mountains and in his private life is an offsite host, a musician and a father of four.
