Josef Vlasak

As a Chair of the Global Architecture Board, I review, approve and give recommendations for the Design of all IT Projects and Products of The Group, across over 60 countries and all legal entities.
As a member of the Governance team, I foster the environment for all shades of Architects in The Group, so that we have the tools and resources we need, best practices are developed, shared and celebrated and people have opportunities to learn and grow.
What went well:
- Accelerated digital transformation by delivering 8mio EUR of projects for a global insurance company.
- Introduced first B2C channel to an organization, that was purely B2B for 40 years.
- Set up processes and best practices for shared services center employing 150 FTEs, serving 11 countries.
- Delivered three mobile applications, which reached 5mio active users within the first year.
- Developed business strategy, which helped stimmulate 50% year over year growth.
- Founding member of a commercially successful IT start-up in the space of shared mobility.
- Founding member of a country branch of a non-profit organization, focusing on bringing peace through building shared understanding across geographies, cultures and religions.

Who am I:
