Jessica Mansourati

Hi,

My namn is Jessica Mansourati and I have been working within the audio industry for over a decade, starting out at Universal Music and Spotify to then work with podcasts at Acast and finally building my own companies.

My first company - Bookself - was a social audiobook platform where readers could follow the reads of peers and thought leaders like Bill Gates, Emma Watson, Barack Obama, etc, taking inspiration from Chinese business models for consumer apps.

Our second company - highlight.fm - is a platform for bite-sized audio and serves listeners with 5-10 minute audio clips for every mood and topic, including podcast highlights.

My academic background is from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, where I earned an MSc in Management and Economics.

I have coached and mentored various startup-founders and creatives who are looking to grow their business or simply take the first steps towards realizing their dreams.

I have lived and worked within the audio and tech industry in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Stockholm and London and with more creative endeavors in Lebanon.
