Erin Gallegos

In my nearly 20-year career, most of my roles have focused on the same core idea in different forms: helping people to say the right thing, at the right time, in the right way, to the right people.

As an editor, technical writer, project manager, communications specialist, and senior communications leader, I've worked with hundreds of people over the years to clarify what they want to say and learn how best to say it - in writing, in public, and in interpersonal situations. Most recently, I was the Head of Strategic Partnerships at the Avast Foundation, using my skills as a listener and my passion for making the world a better place to establish meaningful, effective partnerships that bring sustainable change to communities. Today, I'm part of the Gen Corporate Responsibility team, managing EMEA and India Philanthropy, EMEA employee engagement in volunteering and donation programs, and global product donation.

My passions and profession have led me to live and work in 5 countries on 4 continents over the last 20 years. I have a breadth of experience with relocation and integration, cross-cultural communication, diverse organizational cultures, and career shifts. Since having my son in 2019, I've also navigated the challenges of returning from maternity leave, and working (single) motherhood. I'm open and direct about the challenges I've faced and the lessons I've learned along the way.
