Ania Bornova

Hi, I'm Ania. I am currently on maternity leave, the biggest management challenge among all :) I still provide marketing and career mentoring. Last I worked as CMO for Donio, an online crowdfunding platform and before that, for Terap.io, a startup enabling online counselling, founded during covid times. I have worked in marketing since I was 20, be it in non-profit, startup or middle-sized companies. My break-through career moment, I would say, would be becoming the team leader of 20 people at the age of 25, after only a year of working for ZOOT fashion e-store. I quickly learnt leadership and management skills on different workshops but also in my day-to-day job. These skills, such as respectful communication and crisis-solving, basic coaching techniques, effective project and time management or prioritization, were useful throughout my whole career and however big my team has been. Above all, I like to have open and honest conversations and motivate others to be their best-selves by making such effort everyday myself. My last job position as a startup CMO involved both high-level decision making and hands-on activities such as PR or e-mail automation, so I can help overcome strategic challenges but also, let's say, a writer's block. Every now and then I have been helped in my life by inspirational people and I feel it is my time to give back to the community. xx
