Alexandra is a co-founder of Haenke, Prague-based initiative that champions the importance of plants and nature in various aspects of our society, from health and science to arts or design. She studied Marketing Communications and Public Relations at the Charles University of Prague, followed by a master’s degree in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at the Goldsmiths College, University of London. While in London, she worked as a communications consultant in the arts and culture, and launched an award-winning non-profit incubator, NX Creative Lab that aimed at advising young start ups within creative industries. In her spare time she volunteers for El Sistema Greece, a community project – member of UNHCR’s With Refugees campaign - that provides free music education to refugee children living in Greece. She is a visiting lecturer at the University of Economics in Prague, has contributed to the media such as Forbes Czech or Hospodarske noviny, and co-hosts Phytophilia, a podcast examining the relationship between people and plants.
