Leah Chrestien

My current role is that of a senior data engineer and team lead at IDC (IDG group). I am an experienced AI Engineer and Data Scientist with over 6 years in developing AI-driven applications across diverse software industries. I specialize in crafting custom SaaS solutions and have a solid academic foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AWS. My expertise includes designing RAG-based chatbots and developing AI-powered plugins for major partner corporations.

My job in the software corporate industry is difficult, extremely fast-paced and ever changing to the needs and demands of this day and age. As a mentor, I can help my mentee decide on a career path in tech and navigate some day-to-day challenges of a corporate workplace.

I have a diverse set of interests and enjoy playing the piano, publishing poems, and going to the theater. I have travelled to 30 countries and enjoy immersing myself in the local culture and cuisine.
