Klára Sommerová

Klára Sommerová holds master degrees in both Law and Journalism and currently works as a Senior Legal Counsel EU Data Privacy & AI at Reckitt Benckiser (100 FTSE company) specialising on data, AI and innovations. Her interdisciplinary career focused on law, media and technology has given her the opportunity to work on projects in a number of foreign countries, and in collaboration with organizations such as the European Youth Press, the Council of Europe, the European University Institute in Florence, or the Asia Europe Foundation in Singapore, among others. For over 13 years, she has focused on the areas of transformation of law and media under the influence of new technologies, which she translates into initiatives for the general public, most recently in preparing a workshop on building ethical and sustainable technologies with Women in Tech Cambodia, or mentoring research on digital anxiety within the ASEF Young Leaders Summit. She is an alumna of the Aspen Young Leaders Program.
