Would you like to grow professionally in the field of sales and business development by working with a mentor? Our Sales & Business Development mentors help their mentees identify leads, understand the sales cycle,and form strategic partnerships that open up new markets. They support their mentees in exploring all the possibilities working in the field has to offer. 

With a global mentor community from different backgrounds, our mentors have different experiences to share with their mentees, making every mentoring experience unique. To give you a glimpse of our diverse mentor community, we introduce to you some of our mentors in the field of sales and business development.

Giulia Lorenzini

Currently based in Berlin, Giulia was born in Italy, and educated at the business schools Bocconi University in Milan, University of Sydney and University of California. She has 10 years of B2B growth and partnership experience, with a focus on SaaS applications, digital marketing and media buying. She is currently the Head of Account Management for the Marketing Solutions department at ResearchGate, leading a team of front-line Account Managers and coaching them to drive their commercial success forward. A people manager and a coach, as well as a mentor with the ambition to inspire and support as many professionals as possible to find their ways through their dream career, she describes herself as persistent, stubborn, fiercely competitive and pragmatic person - who faces every situation with a smile. She thrives in diverse, creative and international working environments that promote an entrepreneurial mindset.

Sylwia Iwanejko-Sajewska

Sylwia brings over fifteen years of digital advertising and ad tech experience to her current role as Country Manager DACH at TripleLift. In her previous role as the Head of Buyer for Central Europe at Magnite (formerly Rubicon Project, Telaria and SpotX), she was responsible for building commercial relationships with media holdings and brands in Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland. Her previous roles include senior key account manager for Vevo’s DACH business. She finished her MBA at FOM Frankfurt a.M. / Leipzig in 2020. Her master’s thesis focused on SPO (Supply Path Optimisation) in Programmatic Advertising.

Angeley Mullins

Angeley Mullins is a seasoned commercial executive with leadership roles across the US, EMEA, & APAC including: Amazon, Intuit, GoDaddy, and her most recent role as Chief Marketing Officer & Chief Growth Officer at Latana, an AI-Powered brand tracking & consumer insights solution. Her experience focuses on commercial growth: revenue, marketing, brand, sales, product, and international expansion in both technology scale-ups & larger corporations. In 2023 Crunchbase recognised her, along with other prominent technology leaders, as one of the most influential women in sales. Furthermore she also holds advisory roles with various technology and media companies. She has a special interest for advancing the conversation around women in leadership and diversity at the executive level.

She is a results-driven professional dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. Aside from being an expert in inspiring teams to exceed goals and achieve exceptional results, she is also skilled in guiding individuals to unlock their potential and overcome challenges. She has a deep understanding of the stigma's and challenges of the business world for women and mothers trying to make their mark. Additionally, she has exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at establishing and nurturing strong professional connections.

During his 30 years as a professional, Michael obtained 25 years of experience as a 1st, 2nd and 3rd line leader of people. Prior to creating NEXUS, Michael was a co-founder of ARTELLA Solutions, Inc and held positions as EVP of Commercial Operations and President & CEO.  Before joining ARTELLA, Michael was with Ferring Pharmaceuticals for almost 14 years as a 1st and 2nd line Director.  With Ferring, Michael held multiple positions but most importantly were roles as Sales Director and National Director of Sales Force Effectiveness. These positions require an immense focus on driving revenue by developing people and maintaining a high level of employee engagement.
