Arka Raina

I’m a Design Consultant at IBM, working across a variety of industries to design inclusive products/services. I have experience across all disciplines of Design: user research (UR), design thinking workshops, UX/UI, and visual design. The depth of my T-shape is focused on leading and managing teams at the intersection of UR, UX and UI Design.

In addition to design, I also have experience across the full product-software delivery lifecycle: project management, business analysis, development, test and Agile delivery. This has helped me to understand how Design fits into the wider picture, and has really helped me to collaborate well with business and tech teams when I’m designing.

I have also participated in several startup schemes (Antler, Hatch Enterprise and ColorinTech, to name a few) as a founder, so I can mentor about how to set up and scale your own business.

As someone who sits on the intersections of multiple underrepresented groups, I like to bring my passion for diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure that my designs are accessible and inclusive.
