Shumailla Dar

I am a senior policy and strategy specialist with with over 18 years experience in both central and local government, delivering a range of evidence-based social intervention policies. I have proven track record for advising boards and senior teams, facilitating blue-sky thinking, cross-boundary working, strategy development and innovatively leading teams towards inclusive, transformational change.

In my spare time I am also the vice chair at a charity called Rising Girl, which helps to inspire and empower disadvantaged girls in the U.K. and Pakistan to reach their full potential. I am also on the Board of Governors at an independent girls school in London. I am also a work-based coach, and have extensive experience on helping colleagues through their own career journey.

I hope that by mentoring I am able to help more people and also gain fresh insight from others.
