Dorra is passionate about women’s education, especially in the field of computer science. Dorra was the chair of the ArabWiC for the Tunisian ArabWIC Chapter. She was selected as a Google Student Ambassador in 2013, working as part of a large, local technology community. This prestigious program helped her improve her engineering skills and gain valuable experience. She was promoted to Google Student Ambassador Advisor in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in 2015. Dorra also won the ArabWIC QCRI Scholarship to attend the Grace Hopper Conference in the October 2014.
Dorra has demonstrated a commitment to social community and leadership through her academic work and community involvement. In 2013, she was elected as the chair of the computer society chapter in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Branch at her campus. She considers this one of her greatest accomplishments because it expanded the scope of her computer science knowledge. With the aim of encouraging more women to join the computer science field, Dorra is passionate about empowering women in computing to realize their potential and contribute to the future of Tunisia.
She holds an engineering degree in Computer Science and is currently an Ecommerce technical product manager at Also international services , She is also a scholar from the southern methodist university Dallas as a Women's Initiative Fellow in the 2015 class.
